Homeowners & Contractors

Smart Soil compost enriches the soil with organic matter, improving its structure, drainage, and water retention capacity. This creates a healthier foundation for landscaping, promoting plant growth and reducing the need for fertilizers and pesticides.

Application:

New Lawns:

  • Apply a 2″ – 3″ deep layer
  • Incorporate new soil 6″ – 12″ deep
  • Great time to overseed.  After seeding a thin layer of compost can be used as mulch to help retain soil moisture while seeds sprout and begin to grow

Existing lawns

  • Apply a 1/4″ – 1/2″ layer as a top dress
  • Aerate before applying for the best results
